It all Started in 1977...

Phil Hood started Hood Excavation, Inc. on March 17, 1977. As a self-employed small business owner, he built a reputation for quality work which has culminated in years of repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals from homeowners, contractors, and business owners.

Phil lives on the family farm near Clare, Iowa, where he was born and raised, and where He and his wife Teresa raised their 3 children. Phil still farms this land in addition to operating Hood Excavation.
